Easy Caramel Apple Dip
If you are looking for a go-to dish to take to any party or potluck you’ll ever be invited to again, look no further. This is always a huge hit at every gathering I’ve taken it to.
caramel apple dip
And it’s so super simple.
Here’s what you need.
5 Tbs. of powdered sugar
1 bar of softened cream cheese (if you waited til the last minute, just run your foil-wrapped bar under hot water for a few seconds)
1/2 cup of toffee bits (i just buy a bag of Heath Toffee bits in the baking aisle)
1/2 cup of mini cholocate chips
WARM Caramel Dip (i use the tub of marzettis, but caramel bits would probably work too. It just has to be warm and able to be drizzled)
Here’s what you’ll do.
Beat your cream cheese and powdered sugar until they are smooth and creamy. Then spread it evenly onto your serving dish.
Next, take your warm caramel and place it in a ziploc bag and snip the corner. Drizzle over the cream cheese layer.
Next, sprinkle toffee and chocolate chips over caramel and cream cheese to cover.
Finally, drizzle a cute design on top (mostly for show, but also for more deliciousness).
Any kind of apple works with this dip since no one’s really eating it for the apples
