As a vegetarian, i’m always looking for ways to get my protein intake and feel full, but not guilty!
Enter Protein Shakes.
I swear by these! I have so many faves, I can basically add protein powder to any shake, and I feel like I am treating myself to something totally not allowed. The one I’m sharing today involves PB2. Which I think everyone should try. It’s basically compressed peanuts without the added oil, another guiltless pleasure.
PB2 PROTEIN SHAKE
Here’s the shake! It takes a whopping minute to make, so you don’t have to worry about having a ton of time to treat yourself to something healthy, and delicious.
1 Scoop of vanilla or chocolate protein powder
1 banana sliced
1 cup of almond milk (sweetened or unsweetened)
1-2 tbs of PB2 powder
a hand full of ice cubes
I can’t get enough! The kids enjoy these shakes (minus protein powder) too, and they don’t even know that ice cream isn’t involved! My single serve blender gets a lot of use in our house. If you don’t have one, get one!!
